Our Story
We are a local business, locally owned and have a local team all making your experience here in the Grampians all about making the most of your time here.
Grampians Helicopters started 2015 with a white R44 "JYT" departing flights from Stawell public terminal building.
We realised quickly the need for ground transport to get everyone to the amazing vineyards and in 2016 Grampians Wine Tours started
By 2017 we got a new R44 - "VIC"
Like everyone in tourism between 2020 to end 2021 we had lots of free time like flying a kite with our son. More than 50% of this time we were closed.
2021 we added a second vehicle and refreshed the design to represent all the experiences you can enjoy in the region.
End of 2021 we started Halls Gap History Walking Tours
2022 we added the green machine to offer transport in/out of the GPT plus private tours in the park or vineyards.
End of 2022 we started offering our heli flights from our own private off grid terminal building - still in Stawell,
just our own space.
Now we have Grampians Helicopters, Grampians Wine Tours, walking tours, silo art tours and more........ so time to bring it all under one new brand!
In 2011 Justin and Justine meet in central Australia when Justin was flying choppers & Justine was working as a Contiki Tour guide. They meet due to a mice plague at the time.
